These Terms and Conditions of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website rofront.eu (hereinafter “the Website”), operated by The Association of Regional Offices for Cross-border Cooperation – ROFRONT (hereinafter “ROFRONT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, then you may not access the Website.

1. Access and Use of the Website

  • Purpose: The Website is intended to provide information about ROFRONT’s activities, cross-border cooperation projects, events, and news.
  • Permitted Use: You may access and use the Website for personal and non-commercial purposes, in accordance with these Terms and applicable laws.
  • Prohibited Use: You may not use the Website in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair ROFRONT’s servers or networks, or interfere with any other party’s use and enjoyment of the Website. Automated data collection (scraping) from the Website is prohibited.

  • Copyright: All content on the Website, including text, graphics, logos, images, video clips, audio clips, software, and data compilations, is the property of ROFRONT, its members (BRCTs), its project partners, or its content suppliers and is protected by Romanian and international copyright laws.
  • Trademarks: The “ROFRONT” name and associated logo are registered or unregistered trademarks of ROFRONT. You may not use them without our prior written consent.
  • Use of Content: You may view, download, and print pages from the Website for your personal and non-commercial use, provided that you do not modify the content and retain all copyright and proprietary notices. Any other use, including the reproduction, modification, distribution, transmission, republication, display, or performance of the content of the Website is strictly prohibited without the prior written permission of ROFRONT.

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall ROFRONT or its members be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Website; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Website; (iii) any content obtained from the Website; and (iv) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage.

  • You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ROFRONT, its members, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney’s fees) arising from: (a) your use of and access to the Website; (b) your breach of any term of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any copyright, property, or privacy right.

7. Changes to the Terms

  • We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will make reasonable efforts to provide at least 30 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. 8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  • These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Romania, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved by the competent courts of Romania.
